CANCELLATION POLICY

💄 D.LUX MAKEUP ARTISTRY — TERMS & CONDITIONS ✨ Agreement to Terms By booking any service with D.LUX Makeup Artistry, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all policies, terms, and conditions listed below. These terms are legally binding upon booking. ⸻ 💳 Booking & Payment A non-refundable retainer is required to secure all appointments. Appointments are not confirmed until payment is received. Services are reserved based on what is booked and paid for at the time of reservation. I do not hold dates or time slots with partial or delayed payments. Additional services (such as bridesmaids or extra clients) may be added at a later time based on availability and must be confirmed and paid for once added. The remaining balance is due on the day of service prior to the start of the appointment. Failure to complete payment may result in refusal of service. ⸻ 🚫 Cancellations & Rescheduling Clients must provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. • Cancellations made within 48 hours will result in forfeiture of the retainer • Same-day cancellations may be charged up to 100% of the service total Retainers are non-transferable and non-refundable. ⸻ ⛔ No-Show Policy Clients who fail to show for their appointment without notice will be charged 100% of the service total. D.LUX Makeup Artistry reserves the right to refuse future bookings or require full prepayment for future services. ⸻ ⏰ Late Policy Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may have their appointment shortened or canceled at the artist’s discretion. Full service fees still apply regardless of service completion. ⸻ 💄 Scope of Services Makeup services include application only. Instruction, product education, or step-by-step teaching is not included unless a 1:1 Makeup Lesson is booked. D.LUX Makeup Artistry reserves the right to limit excessive consultation during appointments to maintain schedule integrity. ⸻ 🧴 Sanitation, Safety & Kit Policy All tools, products, and equipment are the sole property of D.LUX Makeup Artistry and are maintained under strict sanitation standards. Clients are not permitted to touch, use, or access the makeup kit or products at any time. Violation of this policy may result in immediate termination of service without refund. ⸻ ⚠️ Health & Liability Clients agree to disclose all known allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to service. D.LUX Makeup Artistry is not liable for allergic reactions, skin conditions, or complications resulting from undisclosed information. All services are performed at the client’s own risk. ⸻ 🚗 Bridal Travel & On-Site Services Travel fees apply to all bridal and wedding-related services and are non-refundable. On-location bridal services require a clean, safe, and well-lit preparation space to be provided by the client. D.LUX Makeup Artistry reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if the working environment is deemed unsafe, unsanitary, or unsuitable. Travel accommodations, early start times, or extended distance may result in additional fees, which will be discussed and agreed upon prior to booking. ⸻ 📸 Photo & Media Release D.LUX Makeup Artistry reserves the right to photograph and/or record services for portfolio, marketing, and promotional use. Clients who wish to opt out must notify the artist in writing prior to the appointment. ⸻ ⚖️ Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, D.LUX Makeup Artistry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from services provided. Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the total amount paid for the service. ⸻ 🚫 Right to Refuse Service D.LUX Makeup Artistry reserves the right to refuse or terminate service at any time due to inappropriate behavior, violation of policies, or unsafe conditions. In such cases, no refunds will be issued. ⸻ 💎 Policy Enforcement All policies are strictly enforced. No exceptions will be made. ⸻ ✨ Final Agreement By completing a booking, the client agrees to all terms and conditions outlined above and accepts full responsibility for compliance.
